Instead, he hunts down Zach (his son/Michael's equivalent) in the original Fred's Burgers and Fries restaurant before Zach burns it down, with the spirits of the children he killed keeping him there and forcing him to be burned alive.
Unfortunately, he survives, barely anyways.
