HAPPY NEW YEAR #2025!!!

This was for sure a year huh... It quite went pretty fast honestly, but still memorable in many ways!

I didn't got to do what I wanted in 2024: Finishing my dream games, but maybe this year!

My plans for this new year

Since I didn't do much in 2024, here's my plans for 2025:

  • Release at least 2 of my games that I got to work on (Dragoon Woosh and Kumper Socks);

  • Start working on my big 2 dream games (Time Tomias and Excalinine);

  • Actually lock in and work on the Time Tomias pilot, since it's for my last ever school project that will determine if I can finish highschool and move on. (And once everything's done, I'll be able to finally share it and then I'll have to do an english dub);

  • Try to adapt to an actual 3D engine so I can actually work on Excalinine (if not, I'll just stick to Turbowarp's 3D extension, but it won't be easy...);

For #GameJoltColors25, I decided to redraw an art I did from last year!

Different tablet, software!... and skills?

Drawing with a pen instead of my finger totally revolutionized my art, but drawing with my finger allowed me to be more precise, actually.

CHASE!!!

Tomias is trying to get the time machine back even with his claws out, while Brat is running for his life... Where those claws have been in?

I'll start drawing in other artstyles like before instead of the usual rendering I've been doing latelly.

Trying out more lighting and shading techniques in this artstyle! I totally should experiment more of this.

Maybe one day I'll be able to incorporate this lighting style into animations aswell...

Added still water to my game

Sarcasm lol, I'm working on the 3rd level where it introduces water and a new type of enemy: frog!

Water changes up the player's physics, allowing for some different platforming styles.

Frogs jump vertically & kill from below.

Exams are over and I'm finally free from school forever, so I can now work in this game like life depends on it!

I'm fully remaking the 1st and 2nd levels, since I'm trying to make these first levels be able to instantly teach the mechanics to the player.

I had to upload the dubbed video separatelly since I still don't have the multi-lingual audio track feature on my Youtube yet.

The voices are still voiced by me! My english is bad.

Working on the 2nd level!

This level is meant to make the player find out the sprinting mechanic, and how to properly use it to reach platforms that look far from reach.

It does look kinda difficult for a 2nd level, so I might still tone it down.

Forgot to show off the cake themed level with its final tileset!

Before the long development pause from months ago, I still managed to finish 2 sections of this level, but didn't got to show it...

This level will be fully remade anyways, it's too messy!
