Hopefully this year can be greater from all the three last years, cause they've been horrible for everybody. And I hope you're doing great at home.
And today on my birthday my mom bought me a drawing tablet and a 254 GB SSD drive these tools will help me a lot in my work and I can't wait to use them on Popgoes 2!
I wanna clarify somethings that I announced that would have happened last year. But sadly didn't. I wanted to start making commentary videos but due to my lack of freetime I couldn't start anything extra but only focus on my life and the project.
I did promise to show Popgoes 2 gameplay last year. I couldn't show anything cause I started to notice a lot of the engine bugs which I then worked on a overhaul of the engine 'Weasel Engine' since it was open source. There were still engine issues and one of the features couldn't be implemented which then I found a new Game engine RanGE , which is the same as UPBGE but with greater features. So I started porting the game's code to the new engine but realized there was some sort of "memory leak" in the code it wasn't so fast. So I had to start again which wasn't a huge problem I go in more detail in this post
But don't worry as there will be more stuff hopefully coming this year... :)
Last year been just a bum for me mostly a lot of mental health issues and later on. I kind of past them. And now I feel better thanks to @kazovsky , @Brodieanddrew , @TheHyperSloth and all of the Popgoes 2 TEAM! I feel more different than ever and fresher even. And it's all thanks for them. If anyone at home has any health issues I seriously cannot recommend you more to go to therapy, so please do yourself a favor!
And Right now I am working on the game's trailer doing motion capture for Mr.Deadline as his rig is pretty heavy to move even if optimized.
Now.. Back to blender!
