Hello there ! I got some news for you (read the article)

I'm probably gonna post some footage during next week, see you soon

Changelog :

  • The game no longer uses Lumen for rendering but screen space global illumination instead.

  • Doors have been replaced by a new "Openable" class which allows way more things. (and is technically faster)

  • Fixed some bugs where boards would lock into place when colliding with a nail.

  • Fixed a bug where doors would lock if a board is onto it, even if it is not held on it by nails.

  • Fixed a bug where the neighbor could only open double doors.

  • Added a pause menu.

  • Added lampholders, light bulbs and switchs.

new tweaked logo ("Resurgence" now has the same font as "Hello, Neighbor!", and has bigger bold letters.)

(The new one is the first image)

👀

(don't know if i'm gonna use it in the game though + the texture is not finished, the handle is still wood)

I made a new design for boards, what do you think of it ?

Hello ! Today i was experimenting a bit with parallax effects and made a mirror, however it is really laggy and i don't think i'll keep them. Besides the graphical aspect it would have been a cool gameplay mechanic though :/

Hello there ! Today i added an inventory system for the neighbor, which can now hold up to two tiny objects, or on heavy object. (This affects its walking animation too ! )
