Hello! Been a long time, huh? You might be wondering where I've been, or maybe not. I don't know, but I'll explain.

Ever since I took a break from GameJolt (and even some months before that) I've secretly been working on my own on something special (gee definitely not obvious at all what it is), however as you can see I'm gonna need someone else to help make it a reality.

I did try coding the game myself, but to no avail as it was a mess, I got overwhelmed very fast and I wasn't able to program even the most basic stuff. But it's fine, it's just not my cup of tea.

Every single asset both graphics-wise and sound-wise has been finished.

Other stuff like gameplay mechanics and progression system has also been fully planned out and written down, and I made sure of that before posting this.

Trying to create a game without having any coding knowledge is rough, but I tried my best to make everything as easy to understand as possible.

I've dedicated a lot of time to working on this, and having all of my efforts go to waste would be really sad...

(Btw, forgot to say, this is a joke game that contains some very dumb stuff here and there. If you're only into serious stuff then this would probably not be for you)

*If* someone is willing to help (let's hope that's the case) I'll make an update post explaining everything that has happened behind the scenes in these past 9/10 months along with a bit of reflection [Don't worry, it wouldn't be 30,000 characters long again ;)].

Those who read my "final" post might be very confused right now because this kinda contradicts it, but I will explain everything soon enough. (I kinda wrote all of this in a hurry which is why it might be all over the place)

If I don't end up finding anyone, then... I don't know, none of that will happen as there would be no point (and I would go cry in a corner)

This is the furthest that any attempt at the game has gotten, so that's gotta count for something... right? At least I can say that I tried.

I'm kinda bummed with having to drag someone else into this without being able to give much back, all due to my lack of skills, but oh well, it is what it is.

(This would be my first time ever directing someone for something as big as this, so I'm kinda nervous haha 😅)

TL;DR: I need a programmer (pretty much any game engine will do) for a special project.
