My FNaF fan game cravings have officially dried up, and I've been working on a completely separate project for a while now. I love Five Nights at Freddy's, and I'm sure that motivation strike will hit me again, but don't expect to see a finished game from me any time soon.

I'm almost 19, and I'm caught up in life right now, so FNAF fan games don't really come to my mind when I have a bunch of schoolwork to do or I have work that day. Making Freddy's, at least since like 2020, has just been about finishing what I started. I never thought about the end result as much as I thought about how I couldn't work past my burnout. Being like this got me into a bad place with my creative self-esteem and work flow since I couldn't trust myself to finish a project.

What does this mean for me on GameJolt? Well, I love this platform, and I want to use it for more than just FNAF bullshitery. I won't be saying anything for a while, but I plan to start posting updates on what I've been working on. The current version of this project has been in the works since 2022, and it's something completely original that I've been pouring my heart into. I have the itch to tease it a little bit, so I will say that it's a story I'm writing that I plan to turn into a hand-drawn comic by me.
