Why isn't the demo releasing?

Well, there are two main reasons:

  • It's a bit buggy...

The game is in a pretty stable state

  • I am absolutely sick to death of this game

Not to say I don't like it or haven't enjoyed making it. it's been a blast!

But I've been working on this 16 days non-stop, even more if you include all the conceptualisation stuff before, and I feel a bit burnt out. Especially since I have a lot of work to do for school projects and looking back over my mock final tests between all this.

...So when will it release?

Soon. I'm not going to keep y'all waiting forever...

I'm going to take a break for a week or two and then polish everything up, so maybe about 9-16 days time (but don't hold me to that)

I'm also going to take a break from posting to Gamejolt. Gaining 50 followers in 22 days is AMAZING, but posting every single day like I have been to try keep my account going is getting exhausting even as it's good at forcing me to be creative so I have something to post each day.

Sorry for the disappointing news but I have to be realistic with myself. I'm not able to finish this for tomorrow and I have greater responsibilities I need to focus on.

If you have any further questions you can comment them below, but otherwise again I'm sorry for holding off on the release and I hope the demo will be worth the wait when it comes out.
