Sorry its been a few days since I last posted about development. Anyway - the new ocservatory is now built and textured, the day/night cycle is set up along with dynamic weather, aurora borealis and moon and a new area for the observatory is tested.

Hallo all! So today work has been concentrating on the interior of the engine room as well as some work on getting the grass in the game managable as it was hiding some of the paths.

#decals #lighthouse #horror

Progression shots - these show the application of the external decals that are used to detail up the outside of the buildings.

Water in games is a nightmare if you want any sort of actual realism - this is why there are massive teams of clever people working for the big companies. I'm using a simpler ocean however I will also be using smoke and mirrors to make it scarier.

So, last post for today probably. (Maybe one more) Anyway, the island has all sorts of interesting places on it. I wonder which ones you will find?

First post. Hello everyone. Yarr. This is hopefully going to be a good home for the Wickie while i am doing it's development. Although I am a seasoned cg artist/developer, this is the first time I have approached making my own game. Fingers crossed.

I did some second pass detailing so that the two diesel tanks link up across the island to the main generator unit. I didnt want the main pipework to hang off the cliff so I hid a lot of it. Also renamed the fuel tanks from 'Alice' to Clyde Diesel.

Today is a progress kind of day. I have spent two weeks working on technical things and today I wanted to tear down the old village and start over doing it better. Three houses was not enough without being Skyrim so I started with the landscape.

Have a good Boi
