Hi !

As i said yesterday, and since i'm probably remaking the game from scratch, i'll ask you some questions about gameplay mechanics i'll be working on. The explaination of the mechanic is in the article below.


I had an idea regarding the inventory, and it would fix a game design issue while allowing me to reuse some code AND make inventory management more interesting.

The idea is that instead of the classic 4-slot inventory that can hold one item in each slot i could make a 2 slot hotbar, a 4 slots inventory, and some items like cardboard box would fill multiple slots for one item. And when your 2 hotbar slots are occupied by one item you won't be able to open your inventory. This would fix the box stacking issue since you'll be able to carry only one box at a time, and it would make the gameplay more interesting.

Anyways, i don't want to add this feature if nobody likes it, and i'm afraid this feature could be annoying, so i'd like to hear youe thoughts about it, and if you have some suggestions to improve it let me know !

Hello there ! Today i added an inventory system for the neighbor, which can now hold up to two tiny objects, or on heavy object. (This affects its walking animation too ! )

Hello ! Today i was experimenting a bit with parallax effects and made a mirror, however it is really laggy and i don't think i'll keep them. Besides the graphical aspect it would have been a cool gameplay mechanic though :/
