Art Weekly #5

Used all three themes for this week! Hills, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Fake.

I might make a follow up to this and expand on the story that I've thought up behind this not-so-friendly looking Sonic. Or I might just expand this one. I wasn't super satisfied with how empty a lot of the level seemed. Usually when I think of the Green Hill Zone, I think of a ton of bushes and palm tress and sunflowers. Of course, I don't think I've ever put so much work into a background before, so this will do for now.

For those of you who bothered to read this far, please consider participating in Art Weeklies if you have some way or form of making art. I personally couldn't care less what kind of art media is used, and I think that the rules as stated by the community are pretty lenient.

Submissions in the community have been going down in number and I don't want to see this great community end just because there weren't enough people trying it out. You don't even have to be a professional artist or anything. I'm mostly using Art Weeklies as a way to try new things, find my style, and improve my pixel art skills. Please consider making your own submission one day!
