Game
Gull Island

I added globally synced weather (using a very secret technique I came up with, which does not require any networking) and added items for the gulls to carry! Also I created this tiny game site for people who want to follow this little experiment!

In 2019, 6 young adults disappeared in and around Blackwood County, Virginia, USA.

Now it is all up to you.

I'm more than excited to launch this games EARLY ACCESS! Its really been a passion project for me and I cant wait for your feedback! :)

Sunny weather at the Island today! Took the opportunity and made some very simple stylized trees. Developing for WebGL is like developing for an old console: Every vertex, every texture and sound file size counts! So far a very fun challenge for me :)

Finally happy with the "indoors" part of the game! Adding a small, closed off area to the open world of the forest was challeging but worth it. Lots of enviromental story telling in this one! :)

Happy Video Game Day!

July 8 is Video Game Day, a holiday that's obviously close to our hearts at Game Jolt.

Celebrate by completing our quests! They won't be around long, so get the rewards while you can.

Once again a sunny day at the Island today! Took some time to create some basic houses for the gulls :)

Might take a few days until they are fully added until then you can still have a chat with the gulls on gamejolt or over at http://playgullisland.com/

@ryon is a Jolter to Watch, game dev, programmer, and artist who worked on Five Nights at Friedrich's! Follow @ryon before the quest ends on July 15 and you'll get Coins!

If you ever wanted to get a better/closer look at your nemesis, this is her! During development I nicknamed her "Emma"

Just uploaded a little prototype I made within just a few days for fun! Maybe someone will have some fun with it :)

You can built a little big ship and navigate through astroids. Thats it!

Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!

Its almost been a year since I developed "9:16" and im still proud of what I achieved! I tried to push the visuals to be as photorealistic as possible and keep the gameplay as immersive as I could. Give it a try and tell me what you think :)
