Who is the Engineer?

The Engineer is the 6th class of Team Fortress 2 and belongs to the defense category.

He is from Bee Cave, Texas, in the USA.

The Engineer is well-known for his ability to build and maintain buildings that support him and his team, and so he is a class that many people like to use in defense.

He is a class that requires experience with multitasking, so prepare to deal with lots of stuff at the same time.

How does the Engineer work?

Now that you know who the Engineer is, let's talk about his gameplay.

The Engineer has a shotgun as the primary weapon, a pistol as the secondary weapon, a wrench as the tertiary weapon, and a construction and destruction PDAs as fourth and fifth weapons.

Shotgun:

The shotgun is the Engineer's main weapon, it is used to deal damage to enemies that are cheeky enough to get to your nest and try to destroy it. The shotgun should be used at medium range, since the closer you are to your enemy, the more damage you will deal.

Pistol:

The pistol is the Engineer's secondary weapon, it is also used to deal damage to enemies but at a longer distance, compared to the Scout's pistol (which works as a helper weapon to finish off and enemy), the Engineer's pistol has a bigger capacity for bullets, 200 to be exact.

Wrench:

The wrench is the Engineer's tertiary weapon, it is mostly used to construct, upgrade and maintain his buildings, but it can also be used to deal damage to enemies at close range, such as spies. If hitting a building with the wrench while it is still being built, it builds faster as long as you keep hitting it.

Construction and Destruction PDAs:

The Construction PDA is used to place the Engineer's buildings, while the Destruction PDA is used to destroy them.

How to use the weapons?

This will be explained very quickly and shortly:

The shotgun is used at medium range combat;

The pistol is used at long range combat;

The wrench is used to build, upgrade and maintain your buildings, it is also used at close range combat;

The construction PDA is used to choose the building you want to place;

The destruction PDA is used to destroy buildings that you placed previously.
