I am pulling my hair out trying to make something that sounds even remotely like an anime op!

Like seriously, am I just being too picky or like what the frick am I doing wrong?

Am I just not listening correctly?!


I've watched this video, and understood it decently well. Tried to make some things using the chord progression : https://youtu.be/nDaye1j2E4c

They sounded nice, but not really what I was going for.

Now after a few tries I thought I'd try just re-making the song from this video and pick it apart or something-

I can't even figure out the rythem of the first 3 notes. I've tried 5 times and I have no idea what the rythem is.
