I just want to know

GameJolt is a public site, opening to anyone with internet. Yet I've seen that people claim it to be some kind of private venting site since if "none of their friends use it" then it is wrong to share vents that were made about them to the friends. I personally do not see how this makes sense, your posts are out in the open, there is no rules saying if someone is allowed to share such post. When you put things on the open web you are there for allowing anyone to see it. Unless said person who shared the posts was told not to, I don't see how they would be wrong. But please do correct me, I want to understand.
