The Gameplay: 7/10
I really enjoyed the gameplay and the gimmicks of the mimic (rhyme). Although doing something, then hiding, and repeat is kind of annoying, it isn't too bad
The Story: 6/10
It was pretty cohesive for someone who was read the books like me, or has watched someone explain it, but if this is someone's first Fnaf game they've played in years, it will make no sense. Also it genuinely tugged at my heartstrings a lot and made me quite sad
The Graphics: 8/10
Nothing much to say except very good
The Atmosphere: 10/10
Literally perfect. From the intro section staring up at the looming manor with the dark sky behind it, to the moments in Edwin's office, staring outside the blurry window, questioning your journey, it's literally perfect
The Horror: 8/10
The Tiger Rock section is a perfect example of how steel wool knocked it out the fucking park with this game. It is a genuinely scary section that's actually fun to play, and in my first attempt, I literally sounded like as if I was Arnold
"WHAT AM I DOING, WHERE AM I GOING, AHH AHH AHH AHH, I DON'T LIKE THIS, HOLY SHIT THAT'S A SCARY TIGER MAN" - Ghostly, 2025
There are other great moments of horror, but none compare to the tunnels.
The Music: 10/10
Literally fucking perfect. Every song in this game is great. If I had to pick my favorite, it'd be the credits song (aka A Poisonous Kiss). But every other one is good too. Ex, Dollie's Chase, Big Top's Chase, The Chica Disco Song, the intro radio, and The Mimic's Chase. Phenomenal stuff
And now the Final Ranking
Did I have a fun time?
Yes. Yes I did. I sunk 40 hours into this game, spanning over 6 runs, all collectibles, every ending, and all achievements. I would 100% recommend buying this game. I did not regret it. So my rating?
9/10
It has now became
MY FAVORITE FNAF GAME
Thank You Steel Wool Studios and Scott Cawthon...
