Next up

Testing some villain ideas. Using the same base as Aiko (the main character) so animations should be drag and drop.

The villain design is growing on me.

Day 2 vs. Day 1

In engine top down view of the tropical map. Still missing bits, pieces, and detail. But I threw this together in like less than an hour lol.

After some considering, going to push the desert back 1 level, and in place I'm going to be making this tropical turtle archipelago thing. It's mostly an excuse to experiment with the water mechanics.

Simple scene exit animation with a jingle when collecting pineapples. Right now it just reloads the scene but I'll hook it into a hub later.

Back to the debug area to test swimming, a new mechanic!

Sometimes adventuring is tiring. Why not take a nap?

Got a gameplay idea but it requires promoting crabby to main character status. Thinking.

Greyboxing the northern lava section. I'm planning to add a lava pit that leads to the eastern ice cave. No lava right now though just use your imagination.
