The Symmetron Pillar is now visible almost everywhere in the level โ I wanted to add it in as a constant reminder of the bigger objective and context. Had to fiddle with some shaders and textures to get it appearing in spite of the global fog settings.
Today I made some updates to the Quests panel โ which is now called the Progress Log. As well as showing the Quests the player has, it now also shows the percentage completed for the current Zone.
The Indie Game Showcase is on at the Microsoft Pitt Street Store in Sydney this weekend, and Dawn of the Tyrant will be there with a host of other great indie games! If youโre nearby, come along and give it a try! We'll be there on Saturday from 1-4pm.
Today I'm just working on improving some dialogue UI โ but it's part of a bigger project where we are expanding our dialogue system and exploring adding voice acting for ALL game dialogue, which is exciting! ๐
