It's Showtime!

I've been making a lot of progress on Showtime recently, most of it being on the writing side of things. So have this small update with a couple of fun facts about the game in terms of writing!


Firstly I imagine most of you are familiar with BATIM's 5 chapters: Moving Pictures, The Old Song, Rise And Fall, Colossal Wonders, and The Last Reel! Well, Showtime is planned to have 5 Chapters as well and their names are:

Casting Call

Lights, Camera, Action!

Pulling Back The Curtain

Stage Fright

The Show Must Go On

Casting Call currently has a 1,397-word summary on the Game Design Document for Showtime and a 2,113-word script that includes item descriptions, character dialogue, and a much more detailed version of its events. The full Game Design Document has 7,434 words in total and it's only getting longer with every day! I'm super happy with how much progress is being made daily!

Howdy Cobalt here! I'm sure you guys saw that last month didn't have a dev log. I'm sorry, I was busy irl & I felt bad posting such a short dev log. My partner & I decided to combine these two months for more to show! I also struggled to get my ADHD meds.

Concept art time! Here we have Henry fleeing the ink demon, after being smacked in the head by his prophet, as the monster tears through doors and planks to get to him. Henry must slide under and jump over obstacles to avoid becoming victim to the ink.

Howdy! Cobalt here, and happy August! Sorry this post is so late, despite knowing better, I didn't make notes on what I did this month... Then I had a really bad time with my body (cramps) which made it hard to write.

Howdy! Cobalt here, for another devlog over It's Showtime. This month was actually really swell, especially since I got more of my adhd meds recently. So I should be getting way more done in the coming months, yippee!
