Iceland would be finished, if not for all the glitches.

Hey, guys! I wish I could say that I’ve fully finished Iceland, but that wouldn’t be truthful.

I’ve programmed the map, and all of Iceland’s “props” if you will. And it would be otherwise complete, if it weren’t for little “programming gremlins” that are ripping my game apart, piece by piece.

What do I mean by “programming gremlins”, you may ask? Basically, I’m referring to a ton of glitches that are propping up everywhere in my game.

Things like Daniel and random mountains not disappearing on the game over screen, and also the aurora borealis not liking the idea of staying confined to one part of the map.

And the worst thing about programming gremlins, are that they require like 25 different countermeasures to get rid of them, and sometimes that doesn’t even cut it.

My theory is that they pop up when I add too many new features to the game at once. (These gremlins also showed up in the development of the original TQfEL.)

But yeah, once I can get these small little glitches ironed out of the programming, then I can get working on England.

As always, I’ll try to get this game to you all ASAP.

Thanks for reading,
Superben100!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
