Crash Bandicoot: Landed

If you saw the last post disregard it, Godot is now apparently working so we're good to go. Read the article below

So the demo should come out, either Christmas Eve (tomorrow) or Christmas day. Both later in the night (for me), it won't feature a whole lot of new stuff. Just some bug fixes (and probably more bugs I haven't noticed yet), there's some things I would have liked to include but I'll be saving those till the next phase of development. The next phase of development will be me taking any feedback, considering it and improving upon what I have and fixing things and making the overall experience better. This little Christmas thing, is just to assure everyone that:
1) There is a game and it is being worked on
2) I haven't abandoned development, and won't anytime soon.
3) The last demo had some annoyances with it, that should hopefully be fixed now (the annoying camera)

And some news on what the next phase of development will be like after this: I'll no longer be doing any sandbox builds, any new demos will be actual demos that show a slice of the story and what's actually to be expected. These will take much longer to come out, and there may not be very many (mainly to keep most things a surprise till the games finished)

Christmas update, coming sometime soon! #CrashBandicoot #Fangame #indie

WIP: New Sky Based on the original screenshots/concept art. I'll touch it up later, but here's a preview

Did some work on a new area, nothing here *yet*

Thought it'd be cool to show off what the first island looks like so far, so here's a few screenshots.

Would you guys be fine with another sandbox demo where you just explore around and there's no end goal or anything? Just the ability to get a feel for the game, as I want to release a playable demo, but I don't want to reveal anything story-wise yet

Not Dead Yet!

May as well drop another preview

Christmas update is actually close to done, I'm deciding to just drop it when I feel its fine. Remember it is extremely WIP still, and this is the last sandbox release I do till a proper future demo. This is not going to have a lot to it

I need to just show how the game looks while playing in-editor compared to the sandbox I just released. So here's a short video. The differences have me pulling my hair out trying to figure out what the hell is going on with it.

Final preview before I start implementing gameplay (taking most of the code from the original version). I plan to fully expand into being as identical to the original as I can be. (More info in article)
