I have been thinking, my mental health isnt the best at the moment and i think this decision will probably help, and i have been thinking about it for a long time
As you might all know i stream alot on my twitch page, Twitch.tv/icypolar_ and i love doing that, and i don’t wanna give up on that, however, i am gonna quit gamejolt, tiktok, and perhaps Youtube shorts even, and focus on twitch.
The reason i will stop posting on gamejolt is purely i think the platform is still too small for me to grow on it, plus i do not think the platform is in a state where i can freely post and agree with. i feel that gamejolt is still in development, and i cant grow here with the content type i make.
Also the creator system requirements are 2 high for smaller creators, even tho i am a featured streamer, i actually do not have the requirements to be one
Will this mean i will be gone for good? No, i will try and stream now and then on gamejolt when i have an idea, but for now, i will be inactive.
For tiktok the reason is i just dont get how the algorithm works, i get alot of unnecessary comments about my weight, looks, etc. i feel tiktok isnt the platform i want to be on and i think tiktok is still cringe, with all due respect, i was using it to boost my twitch and i think alot of creators are doing it.
So what does this mean? ill quit streaming? Nah, Ill still be live on my twitch every weekend, just know this will be my last post for a while.
