However I'll be honest I didn't look into this new feature anywhere near as closely as I should before posting anything. Blame it on it being late here in the UK or whatever, but I should have done better.

There's understandably some mixed feelings on this new feature, basically turning GameJolt into a Pay To Win platform, pay real money & your posts, profile etc can be boosted. I didn't initially think this was how this was going to work, I assumed (& I shouldn't have) that the system would work like the charges, you'd earn the ability for free somehow or exchange charges or something in order to boost your favourite creator. This is a system I could get behind, but paying real money, yeah that's kinda lame. And big thank you to @LUKELCS for bringing all this to my attention

It is the first step into this for @gamejolt so it's important that we be constructive in our criticism & work with them (not fight against them) to make this a better system.

I never expect anyone to spend their hard on money on any of my items in the shop, I HUGELY appreciate anyone that does but honestly your interactions with my posts, your messages & your charges are already probably more than I deserve but I do make premium items for those that want to go that extra mile to support. But this boost system does seem like a misstep in the wrong direction, and while I of course would be very appreciative if you did decide to boost me, I really genuinely don't expect it or want that. Use your money for something better.

Like I said hopefully GameJolt are going to be receptive to our opinions (they generally have been in the past) and they'll rework or rethink this boost system somewhat to improve it & make GameJolt the creative & welcoming home to all that it has been.
