I put the game on as many FNaF studios on Scratch as I could to see how many players it could get, and it's gotten quite a few!
I'm not going to say this game is like super popular or anything, since it only has 8 followers and just shy of 100 views on Game Jolt within the first day- but that's a pretty impressive amount for a first day performance of a game made in a few hours by a bunch of uncoordinated developers.
Additionally, one of the 8 followers of the game was @RobinTharsGames ![]()
, who I'm sure most of you reading this post are familiar with. It's great to see he recognises the Tigy series, as he called it nostalgic in a comment on the post I made yesterday. Since he followed the game, I can safely assume it provides a sort of intrigue to him, and now I feel obligated to get new content out for the game as a result of this recognition.
Obviously I'm not going to force myself to update the game if I don't feel like it, but I love Tigy's, and I would love to make a full and proper Tigy's fangame in the future. I've already designed a roadmap mentally for what I'll be working on this year, so a full remake of this game coming out this year is unlikely. If I have any free time between projects, then maybe I can squeeze a bit of development into the full remake.
Overall, I'm very glad to see the first 24 hours of reception of this game has been quite positive upon publishing! The game performed well enough to reach the Hot section for FNaF Fangames on the site too, as shown in the video on this post!
