Inspired by BJG’s Mario sprite colour study, I thought I’d try something similar with Metroids.

I chose the Alpha, as I find it more interesting, and I’m happy with how the exercise went, though you might find some of my colour choices interesting.

I know the Alpha’s had legs, but they badly muddied up the sprite so I omitted them for clarity.

Another repost today (I promise that new pieces will arrive soon ).

This was the 2-bit isometric piece for which the Team Rocket trio were made for. I have made other 2-bit isometric piece pieces before, but this is my largest.

While I don’t actually battle in the Pokemon TCPG (doesn’t really interest me), I do enjoy collecting the cards… so getting a Radiant (Shiny) Celebi EX card was a nice surprise today

This was a CMSN piece I made over on my K0-f1 recently as the client wanted a piece they could colour in with their child.

I’ve never had a CMSN like this before, but it felt like such a sweet thing to make.

A shiny I rather like and not one I expected to get from a wild encounter either.

New illustration for a friend.

Originally, I was going to make it a blue forest, but tried a warm yellow glow just to see what would happen, and fell in love with it, sooo... Maybe a blue forest will happen another time.

I also participated in the Retro Redrawn project for Johto. All that remains are interiors, from what I recall, and I thought I’d take on the Daycare centre.

I couldn’t resist including a Bellsprout in the scene.

I didn’t even realise that this was available as a shiny in this game!

One of only two Mario pixel art pieces I’ve made, this was my contribution to the pixel art Princess Peach trend that happened around 8 months ago.
