J1.03 released!

With the RPG Maker Game Jam 2025 ending (finally), I've rolled up updates for the game. There isn't much to talk about (as I am focussing on the main one), but there are quite a lot of fit and finish update. I might update the game again, but it's a wrap.

Changelog:

Overhauled the compression library, improving launch times and memory usage.
Moved the Play button (alongside the save management options) into a "Game" menu.
Some UI updates.
Slightly re-worked the puzzle so it makes more sense.
Re-balanced The Beholder slightly.
Adjusted some of the text and scenes.
Fixed some passability issues.

It's pretty early, but here's a look at a mob manager, handling the enemies in the game. The code streamlines the programming of the enemies. Hopefully, I can expand it to more useful ways.

Time for a bit of shenanigans: RPG Maker MV running on top of Tauri! This more future proofed framework means better performace and smaller file sizes. It does require some re-work in the engine, but it could lead to true cross-platform games.
