Jonathan was just a flower, but one day he became human (we don't know how). Then he met Skeleton-gardener who taught him how to grow plants and also how to fight. Later Jonathan found Cressida while he was working in garden. They fell in love with each other...

...but Skeleton-gardener doesn't like this.

Jonathan is open-hearted, cheerful and kind (like Cressida).

He has a little watering can in his pocket.

BLOOM AND DOOM

Jonathan summons spikes from under the ground. These spikes are poisonous.

His familiar is Buttercup. This familiar can talk and grows in Jonathan's eye socket. (Yep, it's creepy.)

• This guy was inspired by Plants vs. Zombies because "Bloom and Doom" was the first name of this game.
