This new box-art/thumbnail is only exclusive to the Demo now! I'll make a more detailed version and other variations for the final Demo & Game.
Finishing the game?
Being able to finish the full game in 2026 might be kind of a big stretch (considering that I'll go back to university in february, and who knows how many assigmenets they will drop on us...), and also considering that I was planning to release the final demo in 2025 but then got a bunch of feedback that clearly points that the game still needs a lot of work.

As I read on a tumblr post a few days ago, "the last 10 percent is really 90 percent".
I've been working on this game since 2024 and even made other prototypes before in a different engine, so I don't have much excuses to take this long (actually I do, but you get the idea).
What's still missing on the Demo?
It's not the missing things, it's the existing things that need a lot of rework and fixing. Many of the feedback was about the issues in those existing features and such, while only some suggested me to add new things (but these are also as important as the others!)
However, the only issue is that there's many feedback that contradicts others, eg. Many praised the player's movement, while others said that it was not good, which I ended up changing all of the player's physics to hit an in-between (and I might even have to change it more in future updates until it's perfect).
What will the full game have?
The Demo already has most of its structure set, but the full game will have way more levels, a story (altho the final Demo will also have a tiny small portion of it), in-game cutscenes (which the Demo already has some, but they'll be reworked on), bosses, and possibly more content.
This game is a classic platformer, but is also kind of story driven with the cutscenes and bosses that I said above (you won't believe how much lore I've poured into a game about a kangaroo that wears socks...)
Final game price
I also want to point out that the final game will be paid. However, the final price will depend on the final state of the product.
If I manage to make the game long enough without going over the file limits (since this is an actual GameBoy game), then I might charge something like 5€ or 6€, otherwise I'll only make it 3€.
(Check Google's currency conversion if your currency isn't euros).
However, the Demo will still be free and playable on browser like the way it is now.
And that's it! If you give a try to this new version, make sure to drop your feedback as I'm completelly relying on them now!
