Late yet again

Hello people!

I know I'm late and I'm sorry about that, but I think I'm going to have to stop doing weekly posts. At this point there's not much content to show off which is why I'm doing fortnightly posts.

I've been working on the right hallway for a bit now and I finally have it at a level of detail that I like. The whole reason I've been remaking everything about the game is to make it feel a lot more like you're actually in a submarine, and cold war submarines are very intricate.

I have also been experimenting with the way I want the doors to work. One of my biggest inspirations for the door and camera mechanics is FNaC (Five Nights at Candy's), more spefically with the old cat and rat animatronics. Those animatronics are invisible when at the door since they don't have glowy eyes and I wanted to replicate the feeling of uncertainty with the divers (which are stil W.I.P.)

The lights still need a bit of tweaking, but in the end I'm sure it'll turn out good. My idea for the spotlight and emergency lights are that they are to be used sparingly. The emergency lights would attract more attention to the office the longer they're used and the spotlight is very power inefficient (plus it can burn out). I've also been trying to work on the story of the game so don't take the description part of the page too legitimately. When I overhaul the game page I'll update all of the info to be correct, but you'll all have to wait a bit for that.

That concludes this devlog. Like I said before I'm going to be switching to making posts every two weeks so I can show you all more content and less halways. Bye bye.
