The intro of the game makes it seem like the Mirror World resides inside the Dimension Mirror, like shown here. Rather, it's a small planet that floats above Dream Land, like in the map above. I for the longest time didn't believe it was the case, but then, if it was above Popstar all along, why don't we see it more often?

It's such a bizarre revelation to have, but it changes how I see that game! I always thought the game took place in a parallel dimension, where some of Dream Land's counterparts like King Golem and Wiz made sense. But there was always Kracko, which perplexed me to no end. Now with what we know, it's not too farfetched to think that he just flew to the Mirror World and is the same one we encountered many times before!

What still confuses me is the Dimension Mirror's presence in the intro, and while it might be metaphoric for the story's purpose, I think it's highly misleading. This also raises another question: If Dark Mind doesn't come from the Mirror World, then what IS he? He's clearly shown to use mirrors as a form of attack, and the intro describes the Mirror World as a peaceful place. There's no doubt in my mind (lol) that he's supposed to be the alternate counterpart of every villain we had seen until that point combined. But that just raises the mystery even further...

Let's hear your takes on this, I'm interested in Amazing Mirror's lore, because if this is as deep as I feel it is, we may be sleeping on a gold mine!
