As this new project doesn't yet have its own page or title I'll post the occasional devlog on the Interstellar Dominion page.
Level Editor!
Work has started on the in-game level editor, currently featuring basic object positioning. In the future I'll add more options to change the props appearance with colour adjustment. You'll be able to customise where ships spawn too as part of a battle layout, with options to choose which faction they belong to, as well as what ship can spawn there. When starting a custom game you can mix and match the maps and battle layouts for added variety.
New ship.
The Vulture ship has a fairly basic mining drill as its primary weapon, where it shines is the secondary weapon. A mine launcher will spread a vast amount of mines behind the ship, the best tactic is to use it against any perusing ships, finishing them off with the mining drill if needed. It's also very effective at ramming smaller ships, dealing lots of damage while taking little. To make use of this the ships ultimate ability is a small range EMP, disabling any nearby ships, making them easy to ram into.
Destructible props.
As the title suggests, a lot of the environmental props, big and small, will have destructible parts to them.
