Mary's Arcade 2 | progress update

It's been quite a while since the last real devlog.

Since then, as many of you know, my SSD failed and I lost a ton of work that I've spent the last month and a half getting back.

The old office (a snippet of which was shown in Daylen's interview) was lost completely, which was a shame because it was almost ready to be put on the game page.

However, the newer office is much better and I'm glad I get to show off this version instead. :)

The game itself is coming along smoothly, but my focus for the last six weeks has been purely on remaking lost models, hence the UI being so basic in the screenshots.

All content shown is subject to change, obviously, but better to show an early version than another month of radio silence. ;)

Literal bug-turned-feature. I am gonna make this happen if you try to move the window while there's no camera feed.

Game.

Happy 50,000 Followers!!!

QOL features are harder to design than actual gameplay stuff. Been working on configuration and settings in SP all summer. Mind you actually porting the main gameplay stuff from Clickteam only took 30 days.

This week's Fan Art Friday celebrates Five Nights at Freddy's! Accept the quest in your quest log to get started.

Localization efforts have been expanded to more areas of the game. Instead of just important buttons and labels on menus, I am now having as many elements as I can translated.

William Afton and his stupid purple car he cared about more than his KIDS

First stable version of new multi pass shader ported. Paired it with a lower resolution and era-appropriate aspect ratio for vibes. (and to make sure the shaders scale properly)

Also shows off some of the enhanced entry area.
