Shana is the main player's best friend and lives next door to you in the town of Brinedale. She is a magician specializing in fire magic and upon the player obtaining the CreatureDex, suggests that she and you explore the Old Cavern and learn of the existance of the Dragonlord Smuug. She is the first party member that joins you and is the first magic user in the party.
