Micro Progress Update 1


Hello again!

Figured while things are in development, I'd give a few upadates here and there with how things are going.

As for this first one, here's what is currently going on:

-Balloons and Poppers skills are now functional, and have been added on to BB, JJ, and Mangle

-Party Select now displays names of character skills

-Fixed an issue where some enemies' death animations wouldn't play. There will be no immortal Mechcrabs or Chillaxes in this house!

-Currently testing out the new currency of XL, the Faz Coin... more specifically it's rarity.

-Almost completed with setup of the brand new shop, Possy's Costume Shop (Also, Possy is back in the game!)

Well, that's pretty much all that's currently working/being worked on. Should hopefully have another update soon. 'Till next time!

P.S. Here's a quick look at one of the new costumes. I think a few people might enjoy it. ;)

Next up

That time of year again.

This whole "making a new battle frame" situation does give me an excuse to add some things I had been putting off for far too long.

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

Got a (mostly stable) demo ready for the occasion!

Pretty safe to say that Possy will be increasing the price of costumes to compensate for this recent development.

Still deciding if it's worth committing to a full rebuild, but I at least figured out a better way to handle the party swapping mechanic.

Still have to address a few tweaks to layering and test some other sidequests, but I think that we're back on track again.

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

Can it be done?

(Also, Happy New Year)
