A promising start that really needs an updated, polished demo.

Cody:

Redesigned Cody to make him look less generic. The green gotta go, buddy :(

Wanted to give him a more striking silhouette

Undyne:

Undyne gets a complete change within reason. She's wearing her date outfit as her casual outfit. My vision would be that she isn't a child, but still an adult, just younger. She'd be in the Royal Guard, but she needs to train and work her way up to being captain. Undyne now isn't just in the Mines for no reason. She's now instead doing inspection work and making sure the people in the Mines don't collapse in on themselves and helping develop the Underground more. At this point in time, Undyne's mind hasn't fully been poisoned with the thought of humans being evil. Cody falls and encounters Undyne. Undyne, wary of humans, but not opposed to them yet, helps show Cody the basics of combat and sparing and follows Cody around to make sure he doesn't cause any chaos. Undyne does all this to make sure Cody is as good as she thinks humans are (according to the anime she's been seeing) and wants to prove the Royal Guard wrong and show that humans are capable of kindness and compassion. Cody becomes her little buddy! On the Pacifist Route, that is..

On the Genocide Route, Undyne comments on the matter of monsters disappearing. You then encounter the mole on the minecart ride and kill it. Undyne, shocked, denies her negative thoughts and chalks it up to Cody defending himself, but warns him not to do that again and just like her take care of conflict. You'd then encounter Cooper. You knock Cooper unconscious. Before you can deal the killing blow, Undyne blocks your attack with her spears, heals Cooper, and grabs you and book it outta there. Undyne would then give you a speech about how she's been working her way up to being captain and how she would rather not have another war with humans start.
