Okay, so that was a video, but I feel like I should elaborate just to let you guys know how big this actually is.
This problem stems from my computer doing something to some files deep in the bowels of Windows 10. I was playing a game and I just suddenly got the Windows 10 equivalent of a Blue Screen. After that, I couldn’t get the operating system to boot up anymore. It would just spit me out to Windows’ automatic repair program no matter what I tried. It turns out that it’s because of a problem with the Boot Configuration Data, or BCD, which is required to even just start Windows 10 properly.

Long story short, I actually can’t do anything anymore. I’ve tried messing with console commands and the most that gave me was the information that my computer LITERALLY can’t find an installed copy of Windows anymore (that’s what I showed in my video). I’ve tried everything from recovering from a restore point to trying to reset the whole PC. It refuses to do any of that. That’s right, it won’t even let me reset the whole computer, it’s beyond that. Apparently, I need to get some form of recovery disc or I need a second full installation disk or USB. Since I still don’t have much money, I’m going with the former and hoping to whoever that it works and I don’t have to spend another hundred and fifty dollars getting a new goddamn installation disk and key.

Luckily, a few things:

1. The disc is coming before the end of the month (if it’s on time)

2. The actual data from my hard drives should be 100% fine and the computer’s internal components should be unharmed.

3. I’ve still got my trusty Chromebook to stay in touch with the internet, so I’m not totally gone, I just can’t work on anything again.

I’m sorry that my devlog here has turned into nothing but a series of essays detailing why I can’t work on the game, but at least I can still say that I don’t have to start completely from scratch. Thank you all for your incredible support throughout these persisting issues and I hope you all wish me luck because, once again, I’m starting to think I just straight up don’t have any.
