While I did enjoy my time with Chapter 5, there were some moments in the game that I had issues with and it left me frustrated. Of course, there were some things that I did like about this chapter.

The Pros:

~ Seeing the final design of the Prototype

~ The Dollhouse was one of the best set pieces in this game.

~ I like the new characters: Giblet, Chum, and Lily Lovebraids

~ Learned about Huggy Wuggy's backstory and playing as him through his memories.

~ Learning more secrets about poppy gel, but not by much. (I wish there was more.)

~ Finding out who the Prototype use to be.

~ Doctor Sawyer returns. Because I felt like he was kinda underutilized in chapter 4 and his death was anticlimactic. I'm glad he's returning and

The Cons:

~ Giblet and Chum were underutilized and they could have done more in this chapter.

~ Lily getting killed off after being introduced in this chapter. I wish they would have added more of her in the game. But I digress.

~ Lily's final chase scene was frustrating. I didn't know where to go b/c you only have a few seconds to figure out what to do, but Lily kills you.

~ The Magnetic hand/bracelet not being responsive at times. This applies to when you are using it in certain sections of the game especially with Lily's final chase scene.

~ Harder puzzles that only leads to collectibles instead of story-related stuff. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind collectibles, but I think to obtain the collectibles, they should be easy puzzles. Whereas the harder puzzles should be for story-related stuff.

~ Lack of variety of things to do besides puzzles. In Chapter 2, you played mini games. What if we conducted an experiment to unlock something? Or maybe we could unlock even more memories of Mommy Long Legs, or Catnap.

~ Inside Outimals shown in the commercial at the beginning had no role in this game except being collectibles. You have the custom made outimals the Prototype made, but still. The one in the commercials didn't even play a role in the game. At least the Smiling Critters were involved in Chapter 3. It seems like they only made the Inside Outimals to be sold as real toys and that's it. Which leaves kinda a bitter taste in my mouth.

~ Player's name and identity still hasn't been revealed yet. It should have been revealed in this chapter considering how close we are reaching towards the end of the story.

~ While it was great to find out about who the Prototype is, finding the info about him was placed in a hidden spot that you would never thought to look. It's a very important piece of lore. You would think it would be placed somewhere the player would find along their path. Or be placed in the Prototype's room. Or maybe in one the labs? Because I didn't know about this until I found out about online.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I still like some aspects of the game, it definitely isn't perfect and the execution of some things could have been better.
