Hello everyone! Happy April!! Or errr... Late March? Well, I won't be at home or near my computer by the time of April 1st, so I decided to release it a day ahead! (also to make sure people didn't get confused about whether or not this was an april fools joke LOL), this month's devlog is a little big. Let's talk about everything that has happened this past month!
Nexitron's Mega Contest!

This month we announced Nexitron's first ever creator contest!! This was done for a multitude of reasons, but the main one was to ease up on development time, as well as to give people a chance to shine and be a part of this big game!
The deadline is October 10th! A ton of time to create a level for both categories of the contest! The contest rules, prizes, and all information regarding the contest, you can read more about it in the submission form below!

I have seen some progress on some of the submissions, and I must say, I am not disappointed by the creativity of the community! I knew that people were highly creative and talented but a ton of people's levels are incredibly good!
This Month's Additions
Not a lot has happened this month in relation to Outside of the game's development, so there wasn't much else to say. But I think a lot of people are more interested in this part, so I don't think it really matters in the long run LOL. So here's what's been added/completed this past month!
THE STRUCTURE OF CHAPTER 2 IS DONE!!!
The entirety of Chapter 2's skeletal structure has been COMPLETED!! I do want to make it clear that this does NOT mean that the RPG portion of Chapter 2 is completely done, only the structure of the chapter is done. There is still a ton of bugs, lack of animation and writing, filled to the brim with placeholders, and absolutely 0 polish on the maps and the gameplay. BUT, you can play through the whole chapter in the most bare bones state from start to finish! I will be going back later, near the end of the RPG's Development to revise the story, add more details to the plot to make it 100% understandable, and to make sure everything is fully stable and consistent. (Especially since there's a new plot point I came up with that I needed time to properly include into the game). The FULL Chapter should be done by this month or in early May! I'll be sure to keep you all updated on the progress in future devlogs!
All Level Title Logos have been completed!
All of the title logos for Chapter 2 levels have been made! I'm not finished with ALL of them just yet, as I plan on making some for the Free Play and Challenge levels that don't have one yet. As you all know, one of Nexitron's iconic things about it's design is it's unique logo's for levels! These have appeared for every Chapter 1 Story Mode level and Platformer so far! (See a new one for Chapter 2 Below!)

These will continue throughout the entirety of Nexitron's development! There will be a LOT by the end of this game's development, but they will all be unique to some extent! (And I'm hoping they'll all look super good next to each other!)
All NPC Cube Submissions have been done!

All of the cube submissions have been completed and implemented into the game! Unfortunately, not all of them made it into the game due to one reason or another, especially since I got a TON of submissions (almost quadruple the amount than last time!) but I made sure to add as many as I possibly could! Thank you all for taking the time to submit something! 

Be sure to keep a look out for all the NPC's walking around in Nexitron City! You never know who you'll run into! 
Enemy art has been reworked!

All enemy art has been reworked to be a LOT more pixel accurate! Before, we had to scale the art down to fit the proper size that RPG Maker wants, but now, we've properly downscaled the art by pixel to ensure the sprites come out sharp and accurate to the pixel resolution as originally intended! This was done due to some of the newer enemy sprites in Chapter 2 being a lot more sharp than the Chapter One enemies. I also just didn't like how blurry some of the enemies looked. It probably wasn't noticed by anyone, but I noticed. ...I noticed a lot LOL. I hope you guys will enjoy this tiny little addition! 
What's next?
April is unfortunately going to be a very busy month for me outside of game development, I'm hoping I can do what I can for everything I would like to this month, especially since this month is GRIMKITTY Production's 3rd Anniversary!!
I wish I could share more, but alas, secrets still need to be kept..
