The game is still going slow, but I'm really happy with the new stuff I have added. This includes the new game over screen!
It was originally gonna be unique renders for characters, but I have changed it to be a Cuphead styled game over screen instead. I am really happy with how it came out.
I have also added the scary creature known as Dee-Dee. I think what I did with her is pretty cool. The screenshot is only, well, a screenshot. You have to wait until the full game releases to see it in full action. (Placeholder with the Dee-Jay render)
I, of course, also updated the character programming on the game page. If you haven't seen it yet, you should.
I might as well talk about the casting call. There were a couple of good voice actors, but not what I'm looking for, so there won't be voices for Beejoof and the big bad. I am unsure right now if Withered Dee-Jay will have a voice, but I DID find a voice actor for him if I do.
Here is a small little preview of the customization menu. Bunch of placeholders but the base idea is there. You can customize Beejoof with a bunch of cosmetics. Each of them providing cool stats. The ones with the really good stats are hindered by a con. Excited to continue this cause there can be a bunch of random strats people can have with completing the game.
That is all I can say for this month's devlog. I may or may not make a trailer for the game. In terms of release dates, it'll most likely be early 2023 (Jan-April). With how slow the game is going I can't get it out this year. Not only that, but the game is quite big in terms of content, so there's that as well. One last thing, no android ports. Very obvious but for the people that'll ask or somehow don't know, no, no android port. It's a waste of time for something that'll probably be shite.
Anyways, cya next month!
