Oy! Here is this week's devlog.

Well, during this week my main subject of attention was realizing grid-based RPG movement which I was able to implement successfully, later on, doe the greatest change came in the form of moving my project from an outdated variant of Clickteam (2015 edition precisely) and replacing it with newer 2019 version, that in itself helped my hugely due to a plethora of extensions and plugins that were absent in 2015 version (better fullscreen, debugging, optimization, etc.) these were some more important renovations and additions to the project with smaller but still valuable being:

  • better dialog box interaction.

  • improved collisions with objects.

  • way better fullscreen (thanks to 2019 edition's extensions).

  • ironing bugs out.

  • organizing events for the purpose of clearer orientation.

Things to add for the following week:

  • iron more bugs.

  • more organizing of events.

  • improve collisions more.

  • starting an RPG battle engine.

I am very optimistic about the progression of project's development, personal responsibilities are still pilling up but I was able to make tangible progress.

Arguably worst placeholders I ever created . . .
