The team at Captilight is excited to announce that the Path of Kami Demo will be brought to Steam during the Steam Next Festival June 16 - 22.
If you haven't heard the Steam Next Festival is giving players the opportunity to play over 500+ demos from indie developers around the world in addition to Livestream chats and panel discussions. Among them, you’ll be able to get an early look at Path of Kami by playing the demo! :)
Path of Kami is a relaxing exploration game with puzzle elements following the spirit of a Japanese wolf named Kazeyo as he navigates the trials of the Mortal and Spirit Realm through puzzles. He is accompanied by Wisp companion who is there to guide him on his journey. Path of Kami contains elements of both traditional Japanese folktales (Momotaro, Issun-Boushi), as well as a more personal journey for the main character.
The demo will give you a sneak peek of a portion of Kazeyo’s journey in the mortal realm and introduces players to the Path of Kami world.

New Prop for a new area in our game Path of Kami
Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
