Before you get to play our game, check out some of the AMAZING art progress that has been made in this final week!

You'll also be able to HEAR amazing voices recorded by the team and edited by myself.

Phantom Focus is a first-person photography game where you hunt for ghosts using nothing but your camera. Explore a spooky mansion, uncover ghosts hidden in antique furniture, and capture them to boost your score!

Asset Overload

diorama_uberarbeitet.png

We will bring you a short and sweet shooter arcade game with BREATHTAKING graphics that our artists are working hard to finish until August 8th. They created over 50 decorative assets during the past few weeks to beutify our level with!

Meanwhile, our programmers are fixing remaining bugs and implementing sounds and other player feedback we've made. The coders also polished the modular systems they developed over the course of the project.
For example, we simply need to create a prefab, drag and drop it into the scene and it will automaticly be able to spawn ghosts. We can also randomly connect and add thereby add more rooms with ease, if we had time.

The modular systems will be of great help if we continue the game and publish it to Steam - let's see if my pitch will make it through next semester.

New UI

Our user inferface also got a big redesign since last gate to make for the best possible user experience, despite limited time. You can see some of it here.
We have a title screen with the exterior of our mansion now! And just take a look at these cute ghosts!!

Voice Over

Some beutiful members of our team have recorded many voice lines for all of our ghosts and even our (invisible) player character, edited by myself to add that ghostly effect sending shivers down your spine. Very reminicent of Luigi's Mansion, just like the overall game concept.

Team

Our producers are really busy making the presentation and press kits. They guided us through this project very well and we have become a very well-coordinated team, despite our differences, and even though we are working on such a project for the first time - in all departments.

See you August 8th!
