Once thing I wanted for the version 2 of the API was to be more open. Things just went way beyond my expectations.
Even though I wasn’t officially accepting pull requests on GitHub (I wanted to get most of the features in first), I recieved one from michidk who was helped by WizzardMaker and I could only accept it.
While I was asleep (the beauty of time difference), andyman404 was helping people on twitter.
Then sebasRez made a PlayMaker addon and Pizzamakesgames made a video tutorial to get you started!
Not to mention that the API got a (small) chapter in a Chinese book about game development with Unity.
Last but not least, quite a few of you have been really helpful in reporting detailled issues.
I’m really amazed and proud of how things turned out. Thanks everyone.
There still a lot to do though and I’ll make sure to get back from my (much needed) holidays in September.
Keep making awesome games and have fun on GameJolt!
