Post-Jam Thoughts

One of the biggest kicks that I get out of creating games is being able to create an entire game from scratch without the use of any outside framework or game engine. In the case of Tower Bent, I was able to achieve this using ordinary JavaScript in a Sublime text editor.

However crowning the achievement may be in my eyes, the disadvantages of writing entire games from scratch are plain to see. Whenever one is tasked with designing an entire game interface, a lot of time seems to be taken away from actually designing the game. The first iteration of Tower Bent shows just what I mean here.

In the context of a game jam, I might have made a poor move. However, everything was designed the way that I wanted it, organized the way I find comfortable. I have made this game very modular and easy to update, so expect it to get better in the near future.
Much thanks goes out to all who participated in Tower Jam. Stay tuned to Tower Bent for updates and exciting new bugs, er, I mean features.

Demonstration of the spells and their effects :)!

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
