Game
Her Nightmares: Redacted

Progress on the game is going smoothly, BUT the game is getting less like HNR for each day, so I'm planning on having this "version 2" being it's own game.

Her Nightmares: Exodus

More info about a new Game Page soon.

[teasers in article]

Experimenting with slopes. For now, the player can roll up slopes. (note, this is not "sonic" physics, so no fancy loops and stuff.)

fast_travel.gif

The HUB now has a new menu, fast travel. most areas/biomes will have 2 fast travel points the player can access. (note, the maps shown are placeholders and is not final.)

Once the new game page is public, this game page will "revert" back into the original HNR game page, as it was before work on "version 2" was started.

BLEED, will continuously build up until it's full and it damages the player, can't be removed.

FILTH, will build up the more filth you touch, once full it will hurt the player, it can be removed.

Hmmmmmmmmmm..

Happy Devruary! Devruary Day 4 celebrates @ElPichon ! They're just a bird who likes to draw! They're also the developer behind The Bunny Graveyard II and Chunky JUMP!. We also have a question for the devs of Game Jolt: How Did You Learn Game Dev?

Added the final status effect,

SALT.

When in contact with it, the debuff gets maxed and slowly goes away, while the player is affected their jump and movement will be reduced/slowed.

You can now roll while in slime form. (you move a little bit faster than running, but you can't roll up stairs)

NEW ABILITY

When running out stairs/ledges, the player will leap forward with a slight boost in speed, timing a jump will increase the boost.

Happy Devruary! Devruary Day 5 celebrates @ExpoDev ! He's the founder of PMH Interactive and is working on The Obsessive Shadow and more. We also have a question for the devs of Game Jolt: What keeps you making games when it gets tough?

PASSING TIME

Were planing on the game playing out much like the old Hayami games during ACT 1.
