Project update and plan outline


Due to the high volumes of work at college, development has been delayed putting me behind my schedule. However, it since has been started and is well on it’s way, with some minor changes to schedule. The plan is to post frequent updates to the project, whenever a new feature is developed.

The first out of four sprints (development cycles) is set to be complete by the end of this week. There then will be a post outlining the results of the sprint.

When it comes to future sprints, at the beginning of each following sprint I will post an overall plan for that sprint. This will be followed by update post all the way to the end of the sprint, which will conclude with the review of the sprint.

Later today there will be another post showing off progress so far.
Meanwhile here are some of the concept designs for the two out three characters:

Next up

Base for 2 characters (need to be finished) The base models for small and medium characters are done (see below) I had to remake the legs for the character since they looked way too small. The new ones look better:

Menu Changes and Death mechanic Just a quick update on the menu changes. I have added a restart option to the pause menu The same function will be used to restart the level when a player hits “Death spikes”.

First character is finished (well, modelling is) Texturing will be done when other characters are ready. The model is far from perfect, but it will do for now.

Base for 3rd character The last of three characters is complete… well the base model is.
