Phew, these platforms did give quite the trouble yes, on stream I did finish the implementation of these, but some minor bugs and details were missing regarding angles and soul gravities.
These platforms do handle any angle the gravity the player is going I believe, but the problem with that is, how do you handle diagonals with only cardinal controls? I could add support to that so you can have gravity at 60°, but I will stick only with the cardinal directions for gravities.
So yey, this purple platform is a sticky one that will just grab you and prevent you from moving away from it, the only way to get off of it is by just falling off of it or just waiting for it to fall off (if the platforms does do that tho).
And that's the last of the platforms, so what's the last step to get this engine out already? well need to make sure no more pesky hidden bugs are around still, I believe I have covered everything but we shall see, the engine may be released on a beta test with minimum documentation of just one page on how to start doing basic stuff, and eventually will be expanded, but I need to do some tweakings and check all "TODO" comments have been taken care of.
And honestly at this point I need to start working on making this page more... bright, like just not a black screen and nothing showing, have something showing already, we'll see.
PD: I'm learning how to use Gamejolt as well now since I am dedicating my time on these posts and well probably paying attention to the community that did shape here, bear with me if the stuff I put don't like fit x3 sowwy.
