Sonic: Quest For Chili Dogs

Semi-Periodical Update: The past few months have been increasingly rough for me personally, and the engine is still a flaming piece, so development is not currently in progress. It will get finished eventually. Please try to bear with me

Here's a screenshot from Quest For Chili Dogs Reheated, showing off the new HUD and Sonic sprites. They're still unfinished, but I think the HUD especially is a vast improvement from the nasty variable boxes from the original game.

Also brand new for Reheated, there's a character select screen that shows the character's stats and abilities. I think it looks pretty okay.

Any negative comments towards the drawings on these screens will be seared into my consciousness for all eternity.

With a new version of QFCD comes a new title screen, which I think blows the old version out of the water in terms of not looking like ass fungus.

Today marks 2 years I've been on GameJolt apparently. Work has slowed down on QFCD but we are making good progress. Since all my adoring followers (see: the cockroaches in the vents) have been so patient, I will be sharing some screenshots from the game.

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
