An Important Update
It’s UNDERTALE’s 10th birthday, and we’re celebrating by soft-relaunching Vision Crew's DELTARUNE Chapter 6, now rebranded as Vision Crew's DELTARUNE: World of Loud Silence! With a new GameJolt page, YouTube channel, and refreshed social media, we’re diving in with a brand-new coat of paint!
... But before we get deeper into the dev log and discuss what’s been happening behind the scenes of the game, we have a more serious message to share regarding the management of Vision Crew and the future of the project.
Please read this document here.
RVPine will still be overseeing various aspects of the project, but they’ll also be taking some time for themselves to focus on their mental health and well-being. Please give them the support and space they need during this period of healing.
We hope everyone understands, and despite this road bump, development on the game will continue!

What next?
So, where does this leave us? Well, even with the hurdles of switching directors and basically refreshing the team, progress on the game is better than ever! In fact, thanks to the new systems we’ve put in place, development is moving faster than it ever has before.
Before, a lot of content was being made kind of at random, which left things a bit scattered—but production never really slowed down. We already have most of the chapter’s generic enemies, mechanics, and even a good chunk of tilesets implemented. On top of that, the engine has gotten some huge upgrades, including brand-new cutscene, movement, and battle systems!
Now, with a proper organization system in place, we can keep track of everything the game needs and push forward into full production. The team is getting a clear roadmap, knows exactly what’s next to work on, and everyone’s role is more defined than ever. We’re super excited to finally push the game out of its pre-production and prototyping stage soon!
Of course, some things are still a work in progress, and development will naturally bring changes along the way. That said, the team is pushing hard to have the game fully in production—without rewrites or major story changes—by the end of the year.

Some last notes...
As mentioned earlier, previews and showcases will be coming out at a slower pace than before. Going forward, we want to focus on sharing more polished, finalized content so you’ll get a clearer picture of what the finished game will look like. There’s still so much we’re excited to talk about—new areas, mechanics, enemy types, music, and more! But today, we mainly wanted to update you on the project’s status and reassure you that the game is alive and well.
We’ll be following up with another devlog in later in the year, where we’ll start diving into some of the unique elements of Vision Crew's Deltarune: World of Loud Silence.
In the meantime, enjoy this new trailer…!
