Sadness is in her "phase 2", in which she opens her eyes... Huh? What does it do? Uh... makes her sadder, I guess?
Okay, serious now, when she is like that, she has a bigger aura of sadness, but gets paralyzed by her own emotions and has no motivation to move anymore.
i think this is the last time I drew her with eyes open tbh-

I don't draw her with sandals anymore and I'm also trying to make her wings bigger without overdoing it... then I get "that's way too big" and revert to smaller ones... or I just conceal them by making them even smaller!
