v1.0.4 - minor update to the game, pressing enter brings up menu where you can cycle through background options. Should make seeing enemy bullets easier.

Work continues on the graphics, it's starting to finally look like a game. I have a day/night cycle working with lighting. Still on a single "level" at the moment but that should change soon.
New version 0.2.1 has been uploaded, now covers about 4 out of the 8 days (a lot of missing obstacles at the moment). Still a few tweaks left to do to the background graphics, but visual look has mostly solidified now. Will keep chipping away.
Slowly adding more graphics to the game, palette is nearly decided though might have a few more tweaks to go. Next phase is starting to build out a level or two.
Managed to get sliding animations into the game, still needs a little tweaking though and collision detection added in. A lot of the core functionality is now in, soon it will be to get level design started.
So the game is now in a roughly playable state. Still a lot of obstacles and level design to go to flesh it out, then need to handle audio, menu, win/loss conditions and a bunch of other minor things.
